Welcome to Geneva Elementary School. Our school provides a safe, nurturing and challenging environment where children enjoy a rich variety of learning opportunities provided by a caring and capable staff.

The staff at Geneva are dedicated to our goal of providing a school climate where learning is encouraged and where children can grow academically, socially and emotionally strong during their time here. We also believe that family and community members play a vital role in their children’s education.

The original Geneva was located on a wooded hillside on the east side of Austin Street in the Geneva neighborhood. The first building was built in 1890, followed by a second building in 1891. In 1982, a new Geneva Elementary School was built on a new site on Geneva Street. In 1992, an addition was built, resulting in the current Geneva.
